POLAR VORTEX RUSH

Alaska Rush is very excited to announce the formation of a new partnership to bring Rush Soccer to the Valley!

Joining forces with Polar Vortex Soccer Club, the newly formed Polar Vortex Rush will provide opportunities for players in Palmer and the Valley to have access to all of the benefits of being a Rush club. This new branch will fall under the umbrella of Alaska Rush and be headed up by director Steve Rubinstein. When asked about the partnership, Steve said: "We are really excited to be entering into this partnership with Alaska Rush Soccer Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to be able to offer high level training and playing opportunities for kids in the Mat-Su, especially for kids from the Palmer end of the valley. We look forward to working with Rush locally and, as our players develop and grow into their new skills, hopefully regionally and nationally. The initial reception from Rush coaches across the country as well as the central Rush staff has been incredibly generous and welcoming."

Alaska Rush Technical Director Brian Lux added: "This is a big move for us, we have always wanted to have a good presence in the Mat-Su area and this will be great for all the players and families involved. Not only can we strengthen the already great programs being run but we can offer new opportunities with our recreational and competitive branches here in Anchorage. The Polar Vortex Rush players will also have access to all of the great things Rush can offer, including Rush Select, Rush Fest and the Rush College Advisory Program. I am very excited to welcome Steve and his club to our family!"
